Description
This will be a 2-4 mile hike to show & teach you about the local butterfly species that inhabit the Palmer Lake Reservoir Trail. We will encounter & identify roughly 20-30 different species of local butterflies during our time together. This hike is great for anyone in moderate health and is great to bring the kids along (we will ascend a moderate hill to get up and visit the reservoir & main lake – our pace will be slow). If you haven’t made this hike previously, you will be very happy you came along to see one of the more beautiful areas around.
First 20 people to register and pay will be accepted.
The tour will include water, snacks and a guide sheet of common local butterflies.
Please park at Palmer Lake Elementary School
